Sports Xtra
Facebook Live Fun Themed Sports Sessions: We've been delivering free online sports sessions Live on Facebook at 11am every day since the decision to close schools. These 30-minute sessions are focused on developing skills such as dribbling a football through themed stories and include cross-curricular learning. The sessions last 30 minutes and families have enjoyed getting fit together safely at home. Sessions can be watched live or replayed at their convenience. Individual skills to practise at home: On YouTube, we have Level 1, 2 and 3 60 second home soccer skills that can be progressed through as they practise at home. These levels can be found in the 'playlist section' of Youtube. The footage is deliberately taken in a living room to demonstrate that if their parents are willing they can do this safely at home. There are also 30-minute sessions to be viewed. The skill level is for 2 to 18-year-olds. People can access by visiting Sports Xtra Skill School or by entering the below link:
